In my part of the world certain construction and transport companies Banned slip on boots because idiots were falling off ladders and steps into vehicles because their feet were coming out of the boots. Now they all get Zip sides with laces and leave the zips down.

There is a massive sand bar at the entrance. excellent deep water fishing west of this port, Greymouth.
It a boiler for central heating.
That stuff is h4 treated timber retaining wall. Rated for 15 years ground contact.
often you will score the surface about 1/3 of the way through a slab of concrete to encourage it to crack there instead of on the nice face
