Yep! In the manga they explore character backgrounds more, including Akito's. The rooster and horse are also around with their stories!
Aye they look really alike! In the manga it's a bit easier to tell them apart since Yuki has white hair and Akito's is fully coloured :)
If you want/can, read the manga! The story is much better than the anime (there are some boring parts but overall it's really good).

Akito from FB is indeed a guy in the anime (dumbed down story) but in the manga he is actually a she.

Other veggies that would go great with this are peas or broccoli. Instead of sauce I use curry powder or paprika powder for diversity.

I don't think it's the icons that are ugly, just all the movie poster folders lined up that look so chaotic to me.
