Thank you! This artist does great work!
Thanks! I agree :)
The prices can vary so much, it's crazy! My artist has over 15yrs of experience and lives and works in Toronto, so she can definitely charge more if she wanted to...but my bank account is grateful she doesn't lol...I also think she might've given me a bit of a deal since this is the 14th or 15th tattoo she's done for me (all within the past 3yrs)
Thank you!
When you said your art teacher would scold you "for drawing lines like that" it did come across with a negative tone, so I was just pointing out that tattoos are a unique art form and shouldn't be compared to a drawing or painting
Sure, there are millions of other tattoos with flowers and a mandala, but you won't find a copy of this one. Also, everyone's body is different, which makes tattoos so fun because they fit and flow with each unique curve of that person. I think there's beauty in things that are common - like I wouldn't refer to a sunset as "basic" even though the sun goes down every day
That's fine, you like what you like. I don't get tattoos to be more attractive to other people, I get them because I like them :)
Thank you! I'm actually leaving it as black and grey, so no colour
Thank you! She does amazing work
Lol thank you
Around 11 hours total between two sessions! But yes definitely worth it!
Thank you! It was $700 CAD, so not too bad actually!
You could always consult with an experienced tattoo artist and see what they say, there are some who are more experienced working specifically with scars, so I wouldn't let those things hold you back if it's something you really want :) they can also incorporate a lot of things into the artwork itself where you're not covering/hiding your natural beauty marks, but instead allowing your body to exist and using tattoos as a way to express your personality and be an extension of your true self
Thank you! That leaf was definitely a bit spicy, but I'd say up at the hip was worse just cuz it was actually over the joint there, whereas it was just above the knee joint so didn't hit it directly. Overall it wasn't too bad though, but after hour 4 I found everything more painful cuz my body is just kinda done at that point lol
Keep in mind that drawing on paper/canvas is much different than tattooing into skin, the lines are there for longevity and fine-line tattoos are a specific form of artwork
The line work is basically a place-holder for the detailing done later, also that photo was right after the second skin was removed so it was a bit wrinkled from a few days of wearing that. That being said, tattoos aren't supposed to be examined under a microscope, they're meant to flow with your body and settle in over time

Elias Ainsworth is that you?! XD
Apparently it smells so bad that it's illegal to open inside most buildings...I don't have a source for this though so just going by what people have said
Sorry for your loss :( ...my sister had something similar happen and it shook me to my core...23yrs old and healthy, next day she had a stroke, 8mths later gone. Stupid and random and just bullshit.
Ooo so pretty!! Love the elephants!
