The existence of landlords is not the issue. There are plenty of good reasons someone may choose to rent instead of buying.
Although I'm also aware that companies hoarding properties is driving prices up. But the issue is then these big companies.
Wouldn't you also need to be able to afford the actual place? Being able to maintain a place doesn't mean you could have bought it.
Being very political is not the only way to help hold up the weight of the world. Some people just don't want to deal with the anxiety.
