Aieet, ill be the one to say it: Vimes is a fictional character. You cannot "feel where you are" based on the bumps of your car. I'm all for feeling the genuine magic in little moments but you have a responsibility to yourself and others behind the wheel of a 4000 lb vehicle, and if your passengers actually noticed and commented then it was probably longer than "just a moment".
