I don't know how to tell you this but we got hit as hard as we did by Covid mostly thanks to his decisions and misinformation. His fanbase hangs on his every word. He could have just said "It's a great vaccine, a beautiful vaccine" and the next day those mf's would be walking out of clinics with bandaids and lollipops and a "Make America Vaxxed Again" baseball cap. He could have tried to use his cult of personality to make positive changes but he did not.
Conservative Americans are furious to see prisoners treated decently, they have an expectation that felons should live in literal dungeons under constant threat of rape or murder for decades on end.

Well if you own a house you're actually building equity. If you pay 1500 a month for rent for a year and then move, you've spent 18000 on rent and have nothing to show for it. With a mortgage you get to keep at least most of that value as equity, because eventually you can sell the house and get most if not all of the money back, or even make a profit depending on the housing market when you decide to sell. An owned home is wealth, a rented home is not.
My mom's last hospital bill included 1200 dollars for an ambulance, we lived less than 200 feet from the hospital
I feel like there wouldn't be much point to only having two drinks a week. Beer leads to more beer. For me at least there'd be no point to drinking only two it would be easier to abstain altogether

I work at a hospital and they offer free meals from the cafeteria... exclusively for doctors. Specifically the people who need it the least. A lot of our EVS workers and phlebotomists and such make basically minimum wage, and as an MRI tech I do fine but obviously my salary is absolutely dwarfed by physicians, but they get the handout. Absolute nonsense.

We don't struggle like we aren't living off Ramen and peanut butter but it's like my checking balance never really goes up. I couldn't imagine supporting just myself on 26k
