You think Trump and his family care about the balance of power? The only thing that's ever driven him is greed and self interest. The only reason he ran in '24 is to end all the investigations/etc. going on. He knew from the first admin he could make money so that's all he's worried about right now. He's probably been told that given the right laws (the framework that Miller et.al. will use to try and retain power) will keep him out of jail and making money, so he'll do whatever he's told.

I'd say that raises the difficulty of this particular work then. If it's "soft" then it's more likely to break or chip whenever they were adding the holes of the lace, especially towards the edge of the work where multiple holes would introduce multiple fragment points.

As a single GenX'er (nearly Millennial, but I'll go with Oregon Trail Gen), somehow I feel more like the Ferengi in this episode.
There was definitely a couple episodes where Picard had been so stressed that Troi was practically like "Wow, we need to get you laid".
To be fair, there was a reporter mentioned by name in one of Epstein's emails because he was worried about what she might find if she were to continue snooping around. I think it's safe to say she doesn't need to clear her name.
