I know I sound like a giant asshole but fuck, it was unsettling how she used asking for my mailing address as a sneaky means of obtaining where I live. I thought she was just gonna send a card. Had I known what she was up to, I would have said no thank you again and made sure to drive the point home. It was a lovely gesture, don't get me wrong but again, no means no, no matter what it means no. she completely blew past my boundaries
had covid this year, person I had been texting with kept offering to bring me food and medicine, I said, no thanks, I got it covered but thank you" like ten times, they finally asked if they could send get my mailing address as to send me something...stupid me gave it and they showed up at my place with way way way more groceries than I need, medicines I couldn't take, and it sat in the hot sun because I wasn't expecting it (they just left it on my doorstep). No means no all around, ugh.
