This song always makes me sad now. 40 years ago I attended a suicide scene of a young teen who had quoted these lyrics in his farewell note to family.
How does the driver see where they're going?
"Closet" originally meant a small room for privacy. Early toilets were "earth closets" denoting the method of using earth to cover excreta. Once flush toilets became a thing the rooms became "water closets."
Same thing happened to our old lad last year. It was so sudden. My deepest sympathy to you.

The new 2022 index lists New Zealand as 2nd safest. While I agree with the overall sentiment re USA, these lists are not current.
Looks delicious! Keen to try recipe ... for non-US cooks, can you clarify volumes? How many oz in a can/large can, or "stick" of butter?
