And while the guys at the end were cavalry-like, she didn’t need them. It was on her own terms.

What I thought was literally distinguishing was the development of the minor characters and the storyline of the Mother character.
Orphan girl defies the odds. Hero’s journey type struggles, intervention from the gods, returning home to fight personal battles.
I did, too. But in spite of itself somehow.
