Haha, yeah, I was doing it for just a comparison for myself, but the results surprised me and I wanted to post it for more info on Reddit.
It didn't "fix it", it just seems to have reduced the look odlf the damage. So far the consensus is the oil in the wax darkens it.
I don't have a DA, but surprised with the results.
