I did this one time to help someone out. I was not prepared for all the chicks squashed between the crates when they load them on the truck. Would not recommend.

Really missed the mark with that sign, “show me your kitties” was right there.

I dont know the statistics, but witnessed arrest with immediate CPR and early defibrillation has been incredibly affective in my anecdotal experience. Problem is, almost never happens.

Sure, the most common and deadly ones. CPR doesn’t fix anything.

Firefighter/emt here. If CPR was performed for any period of time there will be some gastric distention, and that body is gonna stink. But no worse than an airplane toilet.

Immediate CPR and early defibrillation are actually incredibly effective, but unfortunately it rarely happens.

I love big kitties!

I saw a guy forcing a door, and there’s a guy pumping that truck, and another guy in charge making sure he doesn’t do something dumb and assigning tasks to oncoming units,

Me either, but I work 84 to make 1/10 of that.

It’s a training prop. A real door is definitely stronger on the hinged side and usually has a tighter gap with no give.

Wood shims. There’s likely 3 spots to put them, you can choose how many and how tight to increase difficulty.

Then you know as well as I do it’s a simulator. This is not the chosen technique for a steel cased door, but if it were made of wood they’d go through a lot of doors.

That’s what a K12 and edraulic rams are for.

As a firefighter, what?! The hinged side of a door is definitely not the weak side. This guy killed the drill.

Most likely somewhere below the frost line that has ‘wet hydrants’ and got freezing temps.

Does this state not have laws against brandishing a weapon?

Be a real shame if someone ate a bunch of cabbage and beans and repeatedly crop dusted them.

No, no, no… this is TikTok bs. If there’s a fire you don’t lift someone higher where it’s hotter, we drag to stay low, and she was not limp.

I’m guessing you also don’t regularly get put in dangerous situations and rely on your colleagues to protect you. The dynamics are weird.

And that this woman was no doubt in a male dominated toxic environment, and taken advantage of by superiors. We should be shaming the dudes!

The dude is Dr Brian Cox, and he’s awesome. He makes physics so relatable. Joe “squid no look like me, must be alien”.

But you also can’t just look at salaries. FD work 2904hrs/year v 2080 for a 9-5.

There’s huge disparities. EMTs working for fire departments usually do better than private companies 1/2

Just a couple of years difference there. It’s more like if English people got mad when someone dressed up as a Viking.

They are if you wear it across your body.

As a Welshman this really blows. Probably the only WC I’ll ever see Wales play in, and it’s this hot pile of garbage.

You can’t just lift a car by random parts of the underside without fucking it up

Wait, what?! I don’t like when I agree with awful people
