"We technically can't prove the difference" is not true. Generative AI can only apply heuristics, it is incapable of reasoning, and therefore incapable of dealing with novel environments, it requires to be fed thousands of examples (at the very least) of something being performed to construct its heuristic. These examples are usually the result of reasoning, which it cannot perform. These are very definable and understood differences. It's quite easy to prove the difference if you know how.

Except the company that a user responded with isn't even the same company in the post. It's actually a competing product. Sometimes it's not all part of some grand marketing conspiracy, however we can only tell that because in this case it makes little sense. XD

I went through 6 years of this, and only now am realising how damaging it was. My urge to make people happy is filled with extreme anxiety now. I feel like I am walking on eggshells with anyone I get close to, apologising when I have not even offended people because I am scared it could maybe be taken the wrong way. My love for seeing people happy is mixed constant fear that I will mess up and be abandoned at a moments notice.
I am predisposed to the anxiety, but it has been amplified.

I mean reading a book on dealing with Adult ADHD after getting diagnosed helped me a lot. And I think in a way just stopping blaming myself and learning to work with the way my brain works has changed my life. Even though a year later I am still on a waiting list for medication and I have had no real treatment, my life has improved in almost every aspect and I feel more in control of things than I have ever felt. Things can be subtle but still life changing.

Finally got diagnosed last year after COVID brain fog made my symptoms unmanigable, friends had been telling me to do it for years... Unfortunately in the UK "taking back control" has meant there isnt enough ADHD meds being imported for the current patients. So looks like I am never getting any meds for it. But just going through the process of learning about it and knowing what can help has changed my life no end.

Stuff like the false arch you see in the background here are pretty telltale, a human artist would have decided against the arch there and removed it. However AI has to continue from it's previous steps, so even though the curve of the arch doesn't match up as the AI adds detail, it continues to try and incorporate it with the detail of the brick causing this dissonant imagery. These telltales really won't be around forever though, they are already being solved.

Looking at this person's Instagram, if they are using AI art they have refined consistent models and learned to work with them and correct the images. If they are using AI to rapidly create these videos of people's stories faster than they could ever hope anyone to draw them, is that not of value? Is that not transcendent to the form of art? would it be better if he just used stock footage like so many others?

With my food intolerances I just can't order from takeaways anymore. Even going through the menu with staff and agreeing on something. About 1 in 5 times I would have a horrible reaction and be sick for days. And I feel like it's not unlikely people like this are the reason. The most fucked thing is I have had a person do this to me (using butter) and then an hour later whilst I was feeling shit but hadn't mentioned it yet proudly proclaimed that he had just proved it was psychosomatic...

As someone playing around with stable diffusion at the moment I think I know pretty much exactly how this was done. But it is still incredible work.

My guess is it's Stable diffusion and a plugin called controlNet as well as temporal diffusion or similar to increase consistency between frames. Stable-diffusion-art .com is a god send if you want to read up about the basics and get setup with a good starting point for singular images called Auto1111.

* should have said explode rather than smash. Doesn't really happen except with the highest grade let fly.

Also it would require some really long pockets to smash ya balls. But I guess if they were loose enough.. yea could be a thing.

As someone who has worked in magnetics yea these things can totally break your hand if you let them. But is more smush than smash.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Required for these magnets. The way they do it is ecology destructive, but that is just how they do it.

This has happened to me in the UK with another company. I opened the door just as he got to it. Only holding the note didn't even have my /1
