I know it’s easier said than done, but you need professional advice. You’ve got legal and potentially criminal issues happening around you and you have to protect yourself and the kids. Search for free consultations, law school clinics, and parent support groups. Someone will be able to help or at least advise you for free/cheap/sliding scale/payment plan, but it will take digging. There is no beneficial outcome for any media entity in saying “we think this person will absolutely win.” It would mean defensive corrections and retractions as things changed, and gives no incentive to check back in if they’ve made a firm stand. It will be called a close race, a toss-up, a dangerous and exciting nail-biter until the votes are counted.
