You can definitely get prions from infected meat, but since they form in (or around?) nerve cells in combination with fatty acids they accumulate mostly in brains and adjacent nerve tissue (brain is mostly fat). Once an infection spreads the prions can be found in meat tissue as well. Since prions are misfolded version of proteins that one normally produces in body, the exact causes are still not fully understood. Age of the consumed animal seems to be a relevant factor.
There might be a higher risk of prion disease when consuming intra-species tissue, but if we can grow it in the lab it might be easier to screen for it and destroy bad samples before they get to the dinner table.

It started much earlier than agriculture, when people started living in larger groups which required individuals to be less sensitiv, less anxious, more communicative, etc., around other group members. From then on, individuals with, what we today call, neuro-typical neurotype started becoming dominant in general population. Again, just a hypothesis.
I'm not an expert and didn't collect resources, but you can do basic search for "self domestication of humans", maybe add "pdf" to it or similar search filter. It will be classified as a hypothesis, meaning we don't have solid evidence (and might never have it short of using time travel).
Humans have gone through process of self-domestication some 50k+ years ago. You're not gonna hear this in school, but modern humans are semi-domesticated species. And we're not the only ones. Many animals that have complex social structures evolve to be less anxious and more cooperative. It comes at a price though, but that's beyond the scope of imgur comment section. I encourage you to look up the studies (please don't use LLMs).
But why though? I mean, I understand it's to attract a target audience, but it's kind of gross behavior by organizations. Like, if you're in the mood to ogle scantily dressed women, or preferably naked, why go to the racetrack? Is there a general lack of it otherwise? Probably one of the most expensive ways to catch a glimpse of some skin. Complete f-in' chaos.

Yeah, I was following along as it lists useful resources, but they kind of lost me at cassette tapes. To be fair, most people have not had a decent pair of listening devices in their lifetime.
These people will never have the self awareness to ask themselves this question and neither did WW2 nazis, which is why this comedy skit is just a parody of real life events.
I mean, ECT works fairly reliably with much longer lasting effect, but it's no one's first choice and it shouldn't be.
We need governments to be doing this (and much more) and make sure that being rich is limited by ever increasing tax brackets. It's insane that the wellbeing of less fortunate is left to small subgroup of altruistic wealthy minority.
Both biological sex and gender identity are hardware. But gender identity is in the CPU, while biological sex is in the add-ons and peripherals. In this analogy the CPU is non-detachable, soldered to the motherboard. That's why it's easier to change biological sex than gender identity. Changing gender identity destroys the whole system.

I've moved from Winamp to Foobar many years ago and never looked back. It looks like crap without customization, but it's easy to customize and has soooo many useful tools and features that it makes Winamp seem like a child's toy by comparison.
None of the yo-yos I had as a kid were made to spin on their own and keep the momentum stored and after seeing these videos I feel like I've been lied to all my life :(
