Well said, but they don't ponder or wonder this. They don't care. They've been very clear about that for years. Thinking that there's some keyhole you can fit logic into and explain things in is just a mistake.
Workers on his other projects have come forward about this. It's that electric cars and non-NASA space stuff is something they (and many people) want to do, and it wasn't something they could do someplace else. So they worked around him best they could to fulfill their dreams. No one with a work ethic wanted to turn Twitter into a misinformative and hateful cesspool.
This reminds me of when Parker Robbins brought back Frank Castle's wife and kid. And Frank burnt them to death.
He's a murderhobo who routinely kills entire families of monsters but does so haphazardly so that survivors linger, prepping for revenge.
If it's not even close then they should have no problem with preparing for it. Cause if it happens and there's no rules, people are going to get screwed over.

It was really cool to have a recurring villain like that in Star Trek. They can't just blast him for diplomatic reasons so he'll be obstinate between atrocities like Dr. Doom. Love NoHo Hank too. Anthony Carrigan was great as Zsasz in Gotham but cinched his acting in Barry.

Apparently their grant guy lied to congress and they're going to have to refund millions allocated to them in order to help public education.
