I feel like the ring is essentially "DM wants to give the whole party a free life, so everyone gets one from the quest-giver".
Bit of a moot point. I'm fairly sure there's going to be a big sign saying "lethal force authorised beyond this point" somewhere.
"Fan Art" sometimes is admitting that if someone wants to come take a chunk of their franchise back, there's nothing to be done about it.

I have a feeling it's the selfie that got slipped in there. We all know how imgur feels about selfies, good or bad.
#6 feels out of place here. Specifically the second sentence. We've got all this self-empowerment, then we bring fate into it? Hell no.
For me, I take comfort in range being taken out of the equation. You can flee from hand to hand attackers. It's harder to see/outrun bullets
If you can have a gun, it's a safe assumption they would have a gun too. Things have equalised, and we're back where we started. 1/2
This is why they tell you to secure both ends, people.

I wanted to like this movie. Something about it just hit me as clunky, particularly the dialog. More worldbuilding than just going in blind.
I too would like to see the original.
There's something about organic technology that is just so cool to me.
It was like some crazy loop. They cancelled one I liked, replaced it with another, repeat. Three or four series in a row.
