What were all the grits you used? And did you sand in a straight line then sand perpendicular to that each time you change grit?
2... then sand horizontal with 1200, the use a polishing compound, plast-x should be fine. Then clear coat the head light. Works great!
Don't sand in circles. I think I started with 600 grit sandpaper. Wetsand across the headlight, then sand with 800grit vertically...
