Nothing to see here...
Because the Defense Department literally won't allow them to hire migrant workers due to security classifications. It falls under "ballistic missile" R&D so they have to be US citizens to work there.
No. They sued because he wasn't hiring migrant workers. What they didn't realize was that the Defense Department classifys rocket tech as "ballistic missile" research and development, therefore requiring every employee to be a US citizen to get security clearance. It was a case of the left hand not knowing what the right foot was doing.
Fun fact, a turtle this size did exist millions of years ago. Archelon
Nah, this assumes the Navy would allow Russian SSBNs that close to the California coast. Their subs are about 30-40 years out of date and as loud as a rock concert underwater. They might as well have gps trackers on them.
SSBN (Ballistic missile sub) firing SLBMs (sub-launched ballistic missile) from just off the coast. Don't need the range if you're shooting from the neighbors yard. They have ICBMs which have a global range, essentially.
Introducing fallout to the jet stream to spread it across the midwest, for ID. AZ, let's be honest, who doesn't wanna bomb AZ? I mean, it's already hot enough down there I doubt they'd notice.
Taxes, Taxes, shipping cost. Not surprising on those 3.
Say what you want. But I can't agree with the "America didn't vote for this/America didn't vote for Elon". They did. The overwhelming majority did. Not just electoral college. Popular vote. That's the problem. Acting like Trump didn't run for a year and a half on Elon doing exactly what he's doing is just ignorant.
Legitimate question. Where is gas over $4? I haven't seen it that high since Obama was in office. The most I've paid out here was like 3.75. Right now it's at 3.15 Been pretty average between 2.50 and 3.50 for as long as i've been driving. Bit of a spike into the 4s right toward the end of 2016, but after that it's been less.
Trump kinda ran on that stuff though... Biden ran on the "rule of law" party crap. "I respect the decision of the jury" "I respect the process" "I will not pardon my son". I mean. They kind of celebrated the felonies and crap while Biden just looks like a hypocrite.
It's not just the religious right that has a problem with that. It's over 70% of the country, according to polls.
Blocking everyone you disagree with is the quickest way to an echo chamber. I find conversation, constructive criticism and compromise to be the best way to resolve social conflict. But that's just me...
It ain't dodgeball until someone's nose is bleeding like a faucet...
Check out a few things, Youtube - The Atheist Experience (call in show with atheist hosts debating callers). Historian, Richard Carrier. He has a few talks about the Jesus myth origins.
There isn't a single contemporary account of Jesus' existence. Tacitus wasn't even born until 56CE. Josephus, Pliny the Younger/Elder, Tacitus, etc. only ever wrote about the religion. "There are these people, they say this guy Jesus did stuff". None of them claim to be eyewitnesses or confirm the existence, simply state what the followers believe.
Chain-gun sounds? I almost wept...
I was like, "Mavericks? During a gun-run?"
More like, "See that giant fuck-you gun?""Yeah""Build a plane around it.""Say less."
"I shoot explosive redbull cans at 4000 rounds per minute" - Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II
Checklist, mission brief, notes, wind speed/direction. Boat coords.
In the credits, she would be listed as "Bologna mist cloud #1".
The problem with this is that's only one interpretation. The literal interpretation of "not a jot or tittle of the law will be changed until all has come to pass" means that the Levitican law must be followed, still. The "covenant" was about blood sacrifice, not erasing Levitican Law. Not everything Jesus said was good, either.
isekai doesn't necessarily have to be medieval. It just means "other world". It could be a futuristic society, or a caveman one. Anything could happen when the multiverse/wormholes are at play.
I forget who said it but I always liked the phrase "there's nothing good that can come from religion, that can't come from purely secular sources".
Free will can't exist in a system where the creator knows the outcome. Period. Glad you're with us.
I got kicked out of CCD (catholic sunday school) because I asked the question "Why do we pray?" And proceeded to tell the class how if everything goes according to gods "unchanging, eternal, perfect" plan, then no matter how nicely you ask with a cherry on top, it doesn't make sense for him to change it. So pray or not, whatever happens, happens. Teacher didn't like that most of the class thought that made sense, so I was asked not to return because I was a "disruption".
Most weddings are at banquet halls nowadays. Wedding/reception in the same room and it looks nice and fancy enough.
There's no good reason to think there ever was an itinerate rabbi by the name "Yeshua bar Yosef". It's much more likely that he was a mashup of several middle-eastern gods that were around at the time a lot of local cults/religions were codifying scriptures to make themselves seem more "legitimate".
Wait until you get further down the rabbit hole and find out Jesus wasn't an actual historical person, but rather, an amalgamation of several regional gods that preceded the codification of the bible. Then you really start to look at religion differently.
You can call the EC whatever you want. But eliminating it essentially makes NY, Chi, Atl and LA/San Fran the deciders of every national election, and renders every other vote unnecessary. I'm not saying it's a good system. I'm just saying we need to examine all the possible outcomes before making any drastic changes.
