I separate it into western and southern country. Western is the good shit like old Tim McGraw or Garth Brooks. Southern is the new stuff.

Use Dawn dish soap. Perfectly safe for cats and dogs and is actually really good flea shampoo.

My hubby's '89 F250 is like that. Except he had a bad habit of locking the keys in, so he replaced the hinge with a bolt so he can break in.
