Same! Except I randomly had about 6 months of anxiety after I graduated college. Eventually went away but gave me a new perspective on it.
He’s bonded with me but also his flight feathers are clipped for his safety. (They grow back)
I think it’s a big Caique thing!

Actually the larger birds don’t poop as often so it’s way easier to make sure they only go in their cage. smaller ones are the poop machines
It does. They molt twice a year, so the clipped feathers fall out and they grow new ones.
It is my bird, and she’s the boss! She put the sign up haha
I am a grill, yes. I make the best burgers this side of the Mississippi.

Unfortunately they have terrible eyesight and do get hit a lot. Makes them easier to sneak up on though!
We don’t do anything. Just take a few pictures and let them go. Some people may consider them a nuisance, but I don’t.

I never wear glasses, but I couldn’t get my contacts in that day. This was the first time he’s seen them and immediately wanted to {bite}
I always compare mine to a toddler that can fly and never grows up!
He definitely was expensive haha but worth every penny!
He’s a White-Bellied Caique, but sun conures are awesome too!
