Although I’m open to seeing a probability study, I’m not sure what studies exists where the host doesn’t know.

This is not correct. The problem only hinges on the fact that the opened door is not correct. Irrelevant whether the host knew or got lucky.
Nah, if the host picks randomly you either Lose or should switch as the chance of winning would still be 2/3rds on a switch.
