honestly ridges or otherwise surfaces with texturing goes a long way. Many smooth ramps, especially ones that have been painted, often become extremely slick when conditions aren't ideal (wet, ice/snow, a build-up of any dirt, sand, etc, jerks pouring soda or other drinks all over them). The big problem with bricks and stones is those gaps between create very uneven surfacing and gaps that catch mobility aides and trip those who already have balancing or other issues.

yeah. i absolutely hate brick and other pieced together stone walkways. It catches my walker and I frequently come close to tripping and falling because of them. The only thing I hate more are those ramps with large bump dots on them. Like, completely defeats the point to have a tripping hazard on a damn accessibility ramp..

There is a Stardew-like that is even more forgiving called Fields of Mistria. its in early access, but its got a lot if the game fleshed out and its in the introducing more and more and late-game developments parts of it. feels a lot like back when SDV was still in earlier development.

They do it with dogs too. The shelter near me pulls this shit. There was a great dane/bloodhound mix puppy one of the fosters had and they refused any adoptions because they were 'saving it for a friend' of the inhouse trainer. The dog is now fully grown, 2 years old, and lives at the shelter in a kennel not a foster because the friend fell through and its so hard to adopt out large dogs or ones that are no longer puppies.

Find hobbies to do with people and make friends and hang out with people without the expectation of a relationship or intimacy right away! For my friends and I, gaming communities, ttrpg/DnD, etc have panned out great. Not only do you get to do something you like, you get cool people who share interests with you to hang out with and talk about them.
