Just a youngish high school math teacher trying to keep herself occupied. :D I'm a single mom trying to figure it out the best I can. I will be forever grateful to the Imgur community for their unbelievable kindness and generosity. Thanks for reading.
When I saw they were going to raise it, I was excited then saw it went from $250 to $300.
Sorry, it's the easiest and, quite frankly, cheapest option that we have. I am always open to other suggestions. I live in MA.
I completely understand where you are coming from; however, students don't deserve classrooms that look like prisons. We teachers are left to pick up the slack. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for this community for making this easier for me.
I'm also confused here. I didn't mean to mislead anyone. As teachers, we get an empty room (or, in my case, a room full of trash). I have spent hundreds, if not thousands, to make it inviting and not look like a prison. Apologies if the picture says anything differently.
Omg the kids are going to love them! Thank you so much. ๐ฅฐ
Same hence why I reached out. I spend hundreds every year on my classroom, maybe more.
Growing up I sought refuge in the library as a teen, the librarians became like parents and we still check in years later.
I may be not knowledgeable enough, but it seems like they would be shutting off power to mostly blue states? This worried me as I live in MA and we certainly didn't vote for the tangerine but now we may not have electricity to heat our houses in February ๐

My son and I came home from the doctors today to find a half dozen boxes! You guys got me more than half my list and I am bawling. Thank you so much the kids and I are so thankful. I don't think you understand how much tissues, tampons, deodorant, and colorful paper mean to some. ๐ฅน
Idk if you can tell by my username, but hey! ๐
Omg so happy now with an amazing son and supportive new partner
Already done. My state doesn't allow us to proceed until after the baby is born.
Matcha and Ramen for ants!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you so much ๐
Thank you!
I literally went down a dave contra rabbit hole on a school night. I couldn't find a clearer picture, but it appears to say "there has been no chopping" three times?
I'm sorry. I tried making it at home once and it was super eggy. I'm gunna leave cooking it to the experts in the future lol
I've had this a few times in Japan. Not super sweet and basically melts in your mouth. A cross between angel food cake and a super light cheesecake. Absolutely delicious
Had an example of how little ppl know about the holocaust in my AP Stats class the other day. It started a discussion about how ppl could not know who and how many died. None of them knew the answer to this, thinking that only a few thousand died. This is in one of the most "educated" states in America. Stopped the lesson to teach them but the entire time I kept thinking I might get in trouble because it's outside my curriculum
My health insurance for my son and I is $640 a month and that's with my work covering 80% of it. It's exhausting
Thank you for the fail to reject statement rather than accept the null!
I'm saving this collage for when ppl try to send me that hair meme in the future
Wow, that map looks great! ๐
So I read a series when I was young about an arctic base being overrun by killer whales and I have been terrified if them since. ๐ณ
