Yeah I’ve used it a while ago, definitely had better people, just less interest and views than FB so I guess it’s a balance, definitely will go offer up next time

Just sold a couch on FB market place and I feel this. Wish I had just donated it instead

I second the idea to get an obd2 scanner. You can get them that work with your smart phone for about $20! Engine issues will most likely throw a code. I might get downvoted but I wouldn’t call a bad strut something to do into debt over, your car will just be a little bouncier. Also I’d like to hear more about your engine issue, I’m sure there’s enough of us car guys on Imgur to help get it narrowed down at least, then your next trip to the shop might be more productive!

Sorry I missed that bit. It’s sad that for cities where EV’s are the most effective, the least % of people have access to overnight charging

Assuming you have a place to charge your car overnight!

I haven’t seen them as weeds before, in WA there are a lot of raspberry fields but it’s blackberries that grow all over the place

They actually used to build garden tractors like this, much smaller but same concept. Called David Bradley garden tractor

Forced convection is with the use of a fan or other source to move the fluid to help transfer the heat faster, it is still convection.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What you are talking about is natural convection caused by changing densities of fluid due to temperature which causes air currents. 1/2

Forced convection isn’t convection? How would you define heat transfer from a fan then?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Convection is literally heat transfer through air (or some other fluid). A fan makes it forced convection. The old convection ovens had fans

2 door versions of their 4 door family sedan counterparts. Nowadays it no longer holds true but it was engrained in early muscle car culture

Interestingly enough the original muscle cars were specific for body type. A Dodge Charger or Pontiac GTO etc were specifically…

I’m not sure why this is getting downvotes? Both BMW and Mercedes also have 4 door “coupes”. I wouldn’t blame it entirely on VW

I’ve also heard “2 door post” refer to those with the B pillar. Also interestingly there were 4 door hardtops too

Probably also makes corrosion more of a concern

I really wish they didn’t do that, it looks silly! Plus the engines are at the sides of the ship so it doesn’t even make sense

I was hoping for a steel, slightly rugged Naboo fighter not the silly add-ons and missing panels

I agree, the opening scenes of that episode seemed to show how he was getting tired of bounty hunting much like Boba. Star fighter seals it

Opel GT is a nice touch

We used a laser version of this at my last job, accurate to about 2 thousands of an inch over the span of I think 30 feet?

Ditto, mechanical with nearly 6 years making $82k in Phoenix. Moved here recently from the PNW and made a decent salary increase as well

Reminds me of the H. L Huntley civil war submarine. Many men died in testing. They even painted the inside to try to remove the smell.

Went to the corvette museum there before, very sad to see the devastation that has happened there

Think about changing the transmission fluid about that many miles too! It is also often overlooked.

This was the story for most entry level engineers I knew in WA. Trade job route seems better so the mech. Experience is gained earlier

Said techs made hardly enough to even rent an apartment. Aerospace company in puget sound. Only hired mechanically able candidates too

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

my first employer did and they hired BSME’s as techs. They could do it since they were the only ones really hiring entry level.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I think the issue then is people getting the BSME in 5 or so years and then working on the shop floor for a few years, this is what 1/2
