Hey I'm Mr.Inconspicuous. I was listening to an Arctic Monkeys song when I was making my profile and I just ran with it. I also go by Nyk (pronounced Nick), it's my middle name (part of it at least). My parents were... creative. Sometimes I stream at, https://twitch.tv/nykthenovice. Mostly fps games. I'm not that good but I play chill music and I don't scream into my mic.

No one is game planning for Tony Snell, meaning he gets better looks than Curry. All stats have noise, context help reduce the noise.

Okay, here's what context means: Every game defenses have a plan to stop Curry from shooting yet he still shoots at a high percentage.

I think you're also minimizing how much practice it takes to be a good 3 point shooter.

The question was if shooters then were as good as shooters now. Not if they had the potential to be just as good.

So they'd be different players with different skill sets changing the question all together?

Tony Snell has a better shooting percentage than Steph Curry this season. That means he's the better shooter

Here's why people make bad reads in sports constantly. These stats have no context. Quoting them is irrelevant without context.

It's unrealistic to believe that players who practice a skill less would be just as good as the players who practice that skill a lot.

The tl;dr is what that other guy said. It's considered a better shot now than it was back then, which means it's practiced more now 1/2

Shooters today are better. If you want a detailed breakdown of the stats showing exactly how and why that is check out Thinking Basketball.

I'm at a 2-3 most days but sometimes I get stretches of a few days when I'm at 8 on the MHN scale. Idk what to do with this information.

Both extreme left and right look radical to me.

I wonder if that's a result of her parents telling her that everything she's done was perfect her whole life.

That claim is anecdotal at best. The business world is always last to adopt because backwards compatibility is essential.

Choosing a method to synch data isn't difficult, but a lot of their users don't even want to make that choice.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Synching between devices on apple is simple. You basically only have one way to do it, where as on other platforms you can choose multiple.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apple by nature is simpler. They hand hold users and instead of offering choices they make choices for you. A good example is synching. 1/2

sell the adapter is because they know that some people would need it. It's a predatory practice on the tech illiterate. That's why it's bad.

Lol. Most thin and light laptops have multiple usb ports. The problem is that they can and should include the port. The only reason they 1)

It's just ease if use. That's why they can get away with this. Their users don't care about how or why things work as long as they work.

Yes and so are smartphones. That does not mean that the people that use them understands or likes tech.

You see there's this thing called other people and another thing called other products. Some of them actually do need that port. Crazy ik.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apple does not make products for people that actually like or know tech. Their users won't see an issue with this.

His over the top anger reminded me so much of Schmidt from New Girl.

The sad thing is that in their mind they truly believe that's fair.

I've dealt with thousands of people like this in my job. This is not rare behavior.
