I think I can almost hear the audible…”umph” from people feeling the gut punch of this scene a second time.
One could say “that’s what she said” but the deuterostome nomenclature has elevated this conversation above such childish retorts.

It shows how completely a non-factor the US is in Israeli policy (to stop doing something or doing something). This admin doesn’t help or hinder the Israelis, it’s a worst of both worlds. Hard things generally need to happen before someone that refuses to accept it finally turn around. How hard does rock bottom need to be for them to figure it out is them question, you telling them in a hard conversation and refusing to partake in their self destruction is a better rock bottom than them killing someone else behind the wheel.
Three years sober here and it took a blunt and brutal conversation from my gf (who happened to be a Psychologist who focused on addictions) to see the devastation I was doing to my life and loved ones. You don’t need to have the answers, they’ll figure out what they need to do in quick order (I did/do AA) Most likely, the more right you are the more defensive they’ll be. More important people tell them what’s up then accept it and “roll with it”

The last 15 minutes of Children of Men was the most intense MOUT cinematic adventure I’ve seen.
