But I work with multiple people that complain about SNAP money but buy cigarettes, booze, and games. Maybe they just see the bad.
But when my mom was sick and needed surgery (while the economy was still good) "There just isn't any money." She needed help for 1 month.
I think it depends on where you are. I grew up in an area where I would say a lot of welfare abuse happened (and loudly) at the store. 1/2

Report them. The $65k/year could go to people who actually need it.
