I enjoy being mysterious far too much to give any sort of conclusive description...
Technically, the sentence "You are an ass," is a Shakespeare quote - Much Ado About Nothing!
Pigs don't deserve being compared to *that* . Rancid fridge mold barely deserves being compared to them https://media0.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1aGMwZDMxd2I5eWlkYmk5bHd4aTNmcDk5aG16eHlxbXhsanVxMHk5eSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/rdma0nDFZMR32/200w.webp
I love them both, but they are both very different. It drives me crazy when hard-core fans of one over the other say something like 'a true fan knows this one is better.' Like fuck off, they each scratch a different itch and I would die for either one.
#43 all of these, then add on the shame and anxiety of "I'm a professional chef, why am I so bad at feeding myself" :/

I can hear this painting. Love it!!
We called it the Tummy Tap Dance when I was a kid
Kitchen slang - if my restaurant has brisket sandwiches on the menu, but we run out of one of the ingredients that makes the sandwich, and there isn't anything we can substitute, I'll tell my staff to 86 brisket sandwiches. No more no matter what.
Same bill voted to strip funding from Colorado Public Radio and other NPR affiliates. Strength and safety to everyone else protesting the MAGAots today.
His milkShakes bring all the boys to the yard #Seizetheday
The concept/meditation I've been clinging onto recently is to focus on telling both Past Me and Future Me that I love them no matter what - and then to feel them sending all their love to me right now. It's been very comforting. You've got this.
Good timing. In a really dark place today. Thank you <3
Im doing this now with Change on the Rise by Avi Kaplan
Iodized salt does have a pretty metallic aftertaste, like licking a penny - but it's only really noticeable if you use too much. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. Chefs avoid it because it can clash with other flavours in a negative way, but a lot of the public aversion to it is just food snobs being snobby.
The blades on that do look pretty dull - but the second woman is pausing for a split second before she pushes the rest through, and that's a great technique. Once you get the slice going, the rest will usually slide on through without the need for a ton of force. Securing it to a table or a wall helps as well! It takes a bit of practice to get a feel for it. (Source: am chef.)
I thought so too, but I started reading about the mind-blowing talent and technique that went into painting it and holy shit. Da Vinci deserves every bit of fame and more. I wouldn't call it my favorite painting personally, but I get why it's a masterpiece and deservedly so. There's a really good PBS documentary on YouTube about it for whoever is interested! https://youtu.be/NGsUFvwgvCo?si=_e2tz63xp3nfV2_9
I think that's unnecessarily mean to boiled marshmallow eggs
A) I live in Colorado and I would never have known this painting existed if he hadn't thrown a tantrum about it, andB) it looks better that he does anyway.

I work for a ski area - the lifts are a lot safer and smoother now, and the lift operators are still there to help you if you need. You can ask them to slow the chair down for you at the bottom and at the top, and they absolutely will! You've got this :)
First of all, Fuck Columbus, he was absolutely vile and does not deserve to be celebrated by anyone - but I just looked up the history of the 'holiday' because I was curious, and it looks like it's a bit more complicated. https://www.historycolorado.org/story/colorado-voices/2018/10/05/columbus-day-started-colorado#:~:text=After%20launching%20Colorado's%20festivities%2C%20Noce,declared%20it%20an%20official%20holiday.
I grew up with a pirated VHS recording of Cats 1998 that my mom taped when it was being shown on a PBS pledge drive. The neighbors could hear 6-year-old me singing along with it with all the doors and windows shut
Last fall, I got on a London Metro late at night after a lot of alcohol and a broken heart, and 4 different strangers took care of me and made sure I was ok. I felt like I met 4 sisters
The oldest named poet we know of was a priestess of Inanna! Her work is staggeringly beautiful
I just finished reading Small Gods by Terry Pratchett- it explores the concept of how gods gain their power from belief, and when religions get too big, their followers believe in the church instead, and therefore the god dies. It was a fascinating story and I'd highly recommend!!
It's scary how common it is. But not all of us have the full blown tonic clonic seizures that people associatewith being epileptic, the little ones are much more prelevant.
