Awesome. There does that count?
I have a coworker who served 2 years in Afghanistan doing military support. I remember someone saying once how terrifying that was and she was like as a black woman I felt safer on the base than I did walking on the sidewalks in Dallas, Tx. And given the amount of SA that goes on in the military that's saying something, but you know what? She was almost certainly right to feel safer.
I work for a federal group so unfortunately we have to follow the 'official' guidance. But we push back in other areas where it matters more to the people we serve so I'll let this one slide. Also because during the 6 year shut down I ended up moving a lot closer which helps. I even offered if we did a partial return to be a designated butt in the chair. I know the moment the admin changes they'll work to get us back home.
I went from a 90 minute commute to a 90 second one so I was happy to split the time. Management agreed productivity went way up and now they're sore it crashed now that we're back.
Conservatives are also the ones who fight the hardest to keep child marriage legal. You should never be under the legal control of someone you're sexually involved with. I'd rather a million illegitimate children born to couples who have to wait until both parties are 18 over 1 minor who's allowed to get married but not allowed to seek divorce without their spouse's permission.
In the country laws restrict what you can or can't do. You can't burn trash, you can't set up targets in your back yard, you have to spend time and money getting your dogs vaccinated. In the city laws restrict what others can do to you, your neighbor can't burn their trash next to you, can't shoot their guns next to you, or let their unvaccinated dogs attack you or your pets.
Good luck! Having said that children are the definition of contrary so $5 says if you do have kids and make that play structure they'll completely ignore it in favor of a $20 plastic toy or even an empty cardboard box. Best course of action is to build it adult sized and play on it too.
Nobody does feminine rage like Artemisia. I still remember being in an art museum in Venice and turning a corner and them having one of her works and knowing before I ever found the sign she would be the artist.
I worked in a bakery in early 20s and I have kept a roll of it ever since. Worth every penny.
Just be careful! I went in Friday to get some furnaces filters and walked out $350 later with a rice cooker, 2 sets of Magic the Gathering cards, a bag of dog food that weighs 10x the combined weight of our dogs, and entire cart of misc snacks.... and had to go back in for the filters through self check.
They're so big! Seriously I love my HEB but an HEB bird is more expensive and about 1/2 the size. I can easily get 6 meals and a snack out of a single costco bird. So if I end up throwing away 1-2 servings ever few times I still came out ahead.
I told a friend if I had just won an olympic gold, let alone a olympic gold in hockey against Canada I'd be so high on endorphins there'd be a picture out there of be bear hugging Kim Jong Un if he got too close. So I won't fault them for taking a phone call from the president of the US. Just don't say chummy.
She hiked Everest (didn't climb it), she took up skiing, she enrolled in college, and went on trips with friends her age! I'm so proud of her! She said when she called her trainer about starting again he tried to talk her out of it and they ended up talking it all out between them before telling her dad and putting strict controls in place about protecting her freedom.
For anybody who doesn't know her story, her dad put her in skating at 5 and made it her life. And she's enormously talented so she was under a lot of pressure. She went to the Beijing Olympics at 16 and took 8th and retired saying she'd finished her bargain with her dad and was ready to have a life outside skating with real school and friends. She only came back on her own terms with control over her schedule, training, and routines and could stay in college.
The best part is she is. She retied at 16 saying she's completed her agreement with her dad who put her in skating at 5 and she was ready to have her own life now. Came back a few years later with the terms she'd control her own management and they'd have to work it around her getting to live a normal life. She said skating feels different when you're the one choosing it.
My mom was kicked off a cancer drug trial just after Trump took office. Not worth investing further in the research since FDA took a lot of staffing cuts and they foresee much longer approval times. Thankfully it was for symptom management and not a cure or treatment but still. This was the first drug trial she was on that had good results and not a lot of negative side effects.

're looking for people who can stand 10 ft away from Bad Bunny and not move, Caucasian is probably a good choice. Or at least it will be limited to some light swaying not in time with the music.
Pretty sure at least some of my people were in the grass costumes. If you
El Paso is home to the 2nd largest army base in the US. The two theories I've heard that I think are most likely are either some sort of military action into Mexico out of Ft Bliss or that it's because they've already announced they're expanding the immigrant detention center at Ft Bliss and they don't want people paying attention to how fast and how big and how bad it is. There's already been disease outbreaks there at it's current size.
I mean at that point it sounds like depression which can be chemically in your brain or physically in your personal financial, emotional, social situation. I've done both! Oddly enough medicine helps with both if you can get it. In the latter it helps you get stabilized enough to hopefully remove yourself from that situation. Sometimes it's not that everyone hates you but that the people immediately around you see you as something for them to use. And it feels very similar.
Honestly not the numbers but the people sometimes. But very rarely since I actively like my job. I do operational improvement audits and when my work goes well it makes things better and when it doesn't things say the same and generally nobody's worse off. And I think that's about the best I can ask for. Not like medicine or law where I could literally ruin or end people's lives.
The only advantage of having anxiety as a teen was I ended up having some deep discussions with a number of people before starting college. I already knew I didn't have the stomach for medicine with smells but I also talked with a lot of people in various careers about stress levels and things like that. I'd very much wanted to be a trial lawyer before I realized I wouldn't be able to just carry on business as usual after a loss and they're inevitable. I'm an accountant now.

It also has a higher suicide rate than dentistry and almost 4x that of the general population. Bless vets because it is such a hard job and so very needed.
I mean I know it's not legitimate but I can't even fathom why you would fake a UK release. The number of people who care about the FLOTUS inside the US is low enough but who gives a flying $@#$ about another country's president's wife? That's the kind of thing that maybe if it were a huge hit in the US you might have a single specialty showing of overseas not a nation wide launch. And I've watched a lot of really weird and crappy niche one off movies that 99% of the population didn't like.

My bf does this and I'm pretty sure it's because he's never the one stocking or cleaning the fridge. He pulls the 'it's not the last place I left it' card. Sir, the last place you left the Costco size package of frozen chicken tenders was in fact on the counter next to the air fryer after you cooked some and went in the other room to eat. And I put it back where it always goes, in the bottom drawer on the left. So no they aren't where you left them.
My dad's surgeon wrote an exception for our 12 lb cat. Literally the instructions said nothing over 10 lbs except for the fur ball. Though mostly the cat would get in dad's lap himself.
My dad swapped alcoholism for an addiction to AA. Apparently it happens frequently but our general stance was it was healthier and all around cheaper. And we still knew where to find him every night.
Is this a permanent immunity or do I need to get a regular Tate titer to make sure it's still effective?
