Me too. I have spent the last four years writing a high fantasy novel. I am In the editing / beta reader phase and I am terrified that what I have is rubbish. I'm still moving forward and I will self publish no matter what. You can do it. Publish the book and send me a link. I will read it regardless.
I absolutely understand this. I have been writing a novel for a few years now and have almost quit several times. Be kind to yourself and understand that you will get better the more you do it. No one is amazing at anything when they first start. Keep at it .

I have had a few family members and Friends read some chapters. I'm not sure I'm getting good feedback though? I can't afford alpha or beta readers or an editor for that matter.
