My name is Midna. I am a Sheltie!

I grew up with rotary dialing & found touchtone weird for a while after the switch (I still hate getting phone calls instead of texts regardless); although, our heavy rotary phone was way ahead of my grandparents' wall-mounted, crank-type rotary phones (having the manual crank on the side to "ring" the operator) which were wired with multi-party lines; they had to listen for the pattern of rings before knowing if any incoming call was meant for their farm or for another nearby farm.

Standard process for OOKP seems to be a custom tooth+bone implant to replace what was removed. Source: https://www.allaboutvision.com/treatments-and-surgery/vision-surgery/corneal/tooth-in-eye-surgery/ "Patients also need to see a prosthodontist to receive a replacement tooth for the one used for OOKP. A prosthodontist will also be able to replace or reconstruct any other affected oral tissue."

Joining the EU would be AMAZING!! Just think of the potential benefits to education, healthcare, transportation infrastructure, & workers' rights!! Moving further away from the possibility of extremists gaining gov't control via pressure from the USA would be icing on the cake.

I've thought about moving out of Alberta... But I think it's better now to stay & fight for my friends' & neighbours' future. Refusing to give more ground to the cancerous hatred is necessary before continuing the push forward to create a future that can be better for us all to share. (Yes, it really feels like losing battles... But the war is not over yet.) ๐ŸŒˆ We are all connected ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

Mental health challenges should exist in life as a "one-at-a-time choice" or possibly "best two out of five" odds in life, rather than "everything, everywhere, all-at-once" format for so many & only learning survival strategies as $$$ extra credit later in life. Hmmmm .. I really should re-watch that movie again, come to think of it!

Oh damn... You're probably right.

It's not just you... AI lacks too many of the filters required for it to identify & isolate facts vs errors, so it's reliably generating "partial garbage" from a massive, unfiltered mixture containing some usable facts overlayed by a virtual layer of sludge-coated debris. AI is still largely unusable.

I'm not trying to argue that "feelings" overrule logic; I am saying that your assumptions of "fact" & "definition" are flawed. (Also... Why do you feel the need for all those ShOuTy CaPitALs? Deep breaths are helpful... Just saying...)

Again, I think you're still missing the point here... Scotland is not British "by definition" - just because they're currently under British rule doesn't remove their identity as a country; similarly, Ukraine didn't before & wouldn't now suddenly become Russian, First Nations here didn't "become Canadians" because their lands were invaded & occupied, & Palestine isn't Israel's land... Being granted citizenship after invasion or occupation is irrelevant, or varying from your viewpoint. Chill out

Agreed: your body = your choice!! Nice "right to repair" comparison! I got my 1st tattoo in my 30s - it's 34cm (= ~13") long on my leg, so generally not visible at work - & then groups of rainbow-coloured cartilage ear piercings in my 40s... Because why the hell not! My visibly-there piercings help remind me of how far I've come & celebrate/represent diversity+inclusion to encourage others. I work in Pharmacy & for years was afraid to stand out, but it helps me help others! Love who you are!๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŽจ

You do seem to be correct... Wood is much better than the worn-thin, rusty-red carpet I thought I was seeing on the staircase. Reminded me of a similar-looking ancient, smelly, rusty-red carpet that covered the staircase at a very, very elderly relative's house many decades ago.

I can smell that carpet... Ugh.

That was my first thought... Frozen cloth tears more often than not, & they are a long ways away from any replacement options. ๐Ÿฅถ

Hope that you & your fiancee find a workable balance for your upcoming wedding, so you can enjoy some of your day & can both agree to schedule a number of potential "escape times" to just give you opportunities for leaving to walk outside for a bit or nap or something else that "recharges" you! Getting married doesn't mean you need to dress formally, to have a multi-course meal, be available/accessible to your guests for the entire day, or whatever. Be kind to yourself!

I have a similar "people" reflex, so my solution was to be married outdoors (reserved a larger picnic site from city parks dept)... No need to pick decorations, colour scheme, dress, or bouquet. Trees, open space, & next to a lake, so the open space helped (walking paths to "escape" & wander as needed). I requested everyone wear comfy picnic clothes (byo camp chairs & picnic blankets). We supplied a big buffet from local BBQ restaurant, so families with little kids & pets came & went as needed!

Regardless of a debate on "common short-forms"... Sounds like guy was describing polysexual interest (female & female-presenting & trans female). Source: pansexual & not into polyamory. Good for him, letting go of the gender-limited expectations from the society in which he grew up!! Definitions regarding genders & sexuality I've found to be more useful in learning about the Self, rather than in "categorizing" for others; more like a spectrum of influencing features of my personality & interests
