Just plugging away here.
Like I’ve had to point out to numerous family members - I don’t know how to break this to you but cops aren’t supposed to kill guilty people either. Doesn’t matter if they are or aren’t a criminal, or what their crime may or not be. That’s irrelevant. What’s relevant is that those cops aren’t Judge Dredd.
And those of us in the rest of the world just can thank you enough 🙄
He’s a trash person but I did like his work in Judge Dredd. “Mr. I Am The Laaww… CAN’T!” Loved that line.

Noises Off. It wasn’t a box office hit but goddamn great movie. Michael Caine, John Ritter, Christopher Reeve, Carole Burnett…amazing cast. Hilarious movie.
He thinks it because, so far, it’s been true. Why wouldn’t he think it? Nearly 80 years old and has never yet suffered a consequence of any of his own actions. What else would he think?
I have a chihuahua-terrier cross. I kid you not, he would fight a goddamn bear. He loses scuffles to the housecat on a regular basis but he’d still fight a bear. Not a clue about his own size.
Hey now, gotta support the oil patch. My girlfriend’s husband works in Fort McMurray and I wouldn’t want him laid off. Having to find a job where he’s home every night. C’mon.

Saw people get out of their vehicles to take pictures of a goddamn Grizzly bear on the side of the road in Jasper just the other day. Don’t know what they’re thinking. You can’t outrun him. By all appearances you can’t outsmart him. He will casually kill you, if he feels like it. Keep those cameras flashing.

I read that as nine missed emails the first time and it still kinda made sense.

They smeared some poop on his statue outside the Oiler’s rink in Edmonton.
When I worked in Payroll that was actually part of our terminations checklist. If it was the employee’s birthday my manager (also a shareholder) would tell the terminating manager that this can’t be done until next week. She also wouldn’t process a termination for a Friday. It’s the worst day of the week to fire someone.
Many years ago my grandfather passed on these words of wisdom about politics to me - It doesn’t matter if you’re a liberal or a conservative or what you are. Once they’ve been in there for 8 or 10 years it’s time to get them out. They’ve made too many friends and they owe too many favours.
