THIS!!! My cat was also missing for a week+ and I thought she was gone, put up flyers, walked around calling for her, etc. Then my roommate was outside at 2-3am one night and she walked up to her. She'd lost a lot of weight and we think she'd been hiding most of the time.
And America is sure af a plutocracy at this point

I'm an outpatient therapist now & I think seeing Counselor Troi when growing up showed me that that was a career I could do
I've been rewatching it the last few years & doing so has made me realize how much it's shaped my worldview from watching it as a kid
This! I think a lot of people who don't work in healthcare have this assumption that you make gobs of money without realizing the costs

Yah, pretty much. If you pronounce it "folk" it's just obvious you aren't from VA, but plenty of people there aren't cus of the naval base
Solid dump, but #50 made me very sad
relationships & interactions can act as a sounding board for past trauma & help you to discover what things were said/done that were not ok
As a mental health therapist, I agree completely. A neutral party who's there to be a support for you & is trained in dealing with toxic
loan at the beginning of COVID. It's the largest megachurch in the US & is pretty much the epitome of taking advantage of others for profit
They run a massive megachurch that doesn't have to pay taxes even tho it is definitely "for profit." It also received a $4.4 million PPE

And even with doing it that way, still didn't send out another round of stimulus checks
thing in writing, & a few decades later they still owe. It sucks that its necessary, but accountability can make a big difference in actions
did this with my mom & her sisters & they all were responsible/paid it back. He lent the older grandkids $ for house down payments w/o any..
Anytime you lend anyone a large amount of money, even (or especially) a family member, make a contract/get that shit in writing. My granddad
you're going to therapy for. It may lead to preventing you needing therapy in the future. I may be biased tho, as I'm a therapist lol
Sometimes the right time to see a therapist is when you "don't need one" You can focus on your mental health in general instead of the issue

Can I ask what medication you use(d)? I've had insomnia as long as I can remember and it's gotten a lot worse into adulthood
Maybe not emotion, but his body language sends the message that he is enjoying the water: arching his back & lifting his head towards it etc
When he filmed Princess Bride, he had so many back issues/back pain from wrestling that it hurt too much to lift her
