Completely agreed. That's a big reason why we employees do the work we do. Because in the end, we're working for our own profits :)
Actually that has happened, and no. We did not treat her differently. The managers did, but she was super nice to all of us none the less
Here's the thing: It's privately owned by us employees. So every quarter, I get a check for stock dividends :) It's awesome
Only for some stores. At Publix, we do it because we think it's a great moment to build a relationship with customers to have them return.
Cause we get paid to do it. Simple as that. It's our job, and it isn't killing us, so no point in complaining unless it hurts us.
Not too common. We have baggers at Publix though to make sure it's easy to ensure our customers got everything and to help them out.
I've worked at the big P for 10 years now. Like every job, it has ups and downs, but for the most part, a great place to work.
Sometimes though, when it's nice outside, I don't care if it's just a 2L of soda. I just want to walk outside for a bit. So I happily help.
Gotta say, after 10 years working CS with Publix...I have 10 stories about great customers for every one shit bag.
I think the best I can say about these is that everyone has such personality to the picture! Great job OP!
