and they can run faster (often taller, longer legs, less wide hips etc). So why would you(on a top level) go for biologically worse players?
feminism and all, women are biologically different and this has a disadvantage on a high level. Men hit harder (more and bigger muscles) 2/3
They are! Maybe not in the MLB, but in a lot of leagues some teams have women on them! I understand why though, even though I'm all for 1/3
baseball but I would never switch. It's so different in pace, much slower and less exciting. Softball is quicker and has more diversity imo.
Furthermore, I think it's a weird question. Base- and softball have grown to be different sports. I love playing softball, and I like 1/2
