After reconstruction the south revolted. It caused the US government to basically cave in a myriad of ways. They want that to happen again.
Sucks they are getting a bail out and then proceeding to lay off staff, cut benefits, and hours etc.
Also many polls predicted Trump could not and would not beat Hillary. He did so the rules/metrics are obviously far more odd in general.
There are many polls that is just one of them not denouncing it by any means. However has turned out new voters in for example Nevada.
Most people don't see it that way. For example when polling Biden supporters their second choice was Sanders. Its not a clean faction split.
In Michigan, Pensylvania, Iowa, Colorado, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Minnesota and Wisconsin Bernie does better than other candidates.
