Yes but everyone in this country has access to food. Most people can fit cooking into their schedules and budgets they just choose not to
If you can go to McDonald's you can go to the grocery store. Luches can be super easy prep, dinners can last multiple nights....
...is somehow more privileged than someone with access to cheap prepared meals simply because "they have the time to do it" ...smdh
By that logic, some poor soul in a third world country cooking meals over open fire each night with resources they had to collect...
Simple meals can be made in under a half hour, if you ever scroll online, read a book or even watch 1 episode of a show you can cook
I'm sure there are plenty of people that literally never have a single moment of free time, but for most people that is not the case.

99% of the USA population does not have this problem. If anything, having instant access to cheap food is more of a privilege

Not really, just don't be lazy and cook your own food. I never go over 2-3 bucks per helping when I shop smart and cook my own stuff
And we are talking 16 year olds here, the lazy ones get their minimum wage, the hardest working get more tips and higher wages. They love it
I pay minimum wage because it is a very low skill seasonal job for teens. Tips allow for the hard workers to make close to $20 per hours
