My brother was the first in my family to leave the church and he had it bad but by the time I left my mom reacted better.
I certainly don't plan to, especially since she is still getting over the damage done by her last BF cheating on her.
It certainly is a good conversation starter. I actually did ask her once earlier but at the time we had more important stuff to talk about.
They helped out a lot of people after a flood here and are generally very nice. It's a con that gets people to help each other oddly enough.
