Pikes Peak is a standalone event with it's own governing body and rules, though it's not unusual to see WRC drivers competing.
The heli rotor nut is nicknamed the "Jesus nut", because if it comes loose your best hope of survival is divine intervention.
You pretty much lose all hope for humanity after the first few years in a workshop...
