After shootings ppl say, "Taking away guns is like taking away a fork from a fat person," that it changes nothing. Then fix the rest of it.
Thus far, only the neighbors children when visiting are assholes like that. Neighbor always warns us before they come to visit though.
Didn't think about it, but it's probably the best thing about having street parking instead of a driveway. Until someone takes your spot.

So really I believe it's a much broader issue that is very unlikely to be resolved unfortunately.

Oh I certainly agree. I wish it wasn't as easy but at the same time I know that it won't completely stop the issue.
Probably because of the high emotion. Ppl want to be on their side which they deem "right" when it should be about public safety, esp kids.
My kids were homeschooled but now go to public school. First week there was a shooting threat. It's not fun.
Unfortunately if someone really wants to get their hands on a gun, they will even if laws are meant to prevent it. All weapons really.
While Florida does have some of the most lax gun laws, I personally believe it's beyond that. Mental health issues need addressed too.
No gore, just raw emotion from people at the scene. We need to be the force of change to prevent this from happening again.

The issue is one guy said it was staged and gave no proof and people believed him. Others were there and said it was real.
Throughout school it was like this for me. Was told I was a slut, skank, whore for not putting out or showing my body off. It's dumb.
