Update: i removed the 4 screws holding the top of the psu together and bent one side ever so slightly to jiggle the piece out through the side. Turns out its a broken off piece of plastic from somehere inside the psu. Likely part of the fan if i had to guess. With that removed ill try my luck with turning it on.
It looks like there 4 Screws holding the whole case together which seems easy enough to remove, my worries are if i remove it and it doesnt work im not sure if my warranty is voided for having opened it up
This is a brand new psu which i havent plugged in yet so it should be fine
Oh yeah dont worry its not plugged in at all
i might just do that
theres some sellers on ebay that sell hardwood slabs specifically for guitar building, alternatively stewmac webiste sells body blanks too.
I just went to a place that sells alot of different woods, I think they primarily sell to furniture manufacturers. U can use ebay too.
