The FBP?

I hear you. But realize that the pain scale is not meant to compare you to other people, but rather to yourself. If, for example, the doctor notes that despite your appendicitis you don't have debilitating pain, that's a symptom that assists in diagnosis and treatment. The scale is meant to be a reference to "in this moment," not "average out your day."

I find it most helpful to tie the scale to timeframe. Where a 1 is "I could endure this indefinitely" and a 10 is "I cannot endure this for longer than a few seconds without screaming or passing out."

I think you're asking for nuance from Imgur. Good luck with that.

As much as I am also annoyed by credit scores, and how they are used, a quick reminder: they were created to make getting credit (loans, for example) a more equitable process. Before credit scores, banks depended much more on the personal judgement of loan officers, who often denied credit for bigoted reasons.

Not that I disagree, but what will the affect of growing more human-edible produce have when we replace the animal agriculture? Genuinely curious, haven't yet done that part of the research.

Where are you finding 20-25%? A quick Google seems to point to 15-17%. And "meat production" is a little misleading, as that number also includes dairy farming. "Animal agriculture" is more accurate. Still a lot, mind you.

More plausibly:

New friend got hired into a supervisory/management position for corporate, and ends friendship with potential subordinate. OP then gets fired. OP then misattributes firing to friend's promotion, and incorrectly hypothesizes a betrayal.

Ah yes, Salt. You mean the "I'm going to steer a car by repeatedly tazing the driver" movie? Action was fun, writing was hot garbage.

Pedantically, sure.

It's not aimed at people confused because they're drunk. It's aimed at people who abuse their power as a parent to sexually abuse their children, who then use drunkenness as an excuse to do so.

Literally means, "Getting drunk is not an acceptable exuse to rape your daughter." But I see how the phrasing has weird implications.
