Sometimes, when no one is looking, I run up stairs on all fours. I call it Beast Mode. I walk slightly too fast for automatic doors. I believe in Jesus. The gym is my sanctuary, and the side-effects aren't bad, either. I either eat like a supermodel with a photo shoot tomorrow, or the guy about to take first in an eating competition. There is not a lot of in between. There should be a calorie refund for stuff that didn't taste as good as you'd hoped.
I got into a brand new program, which has its ups and downs, but at least it was in a field that was in my top few choices, so that's good.
Ah yes, residency doesn't leave much time for Imgur, sorry. I ended up re-applying the second year.
What I SAID was, “Send that man ALL the bacon you have. Do you understand?”
I’m allergic, and so haven’t been around cats much, but are they not totally in control of their claws? They seem to get stuck/caught a lot.
Username doesn’t check out. Good for you. (But also expected this comment way sooner.)
Not sure why you’re being downvoted. Certainly not always true, but I’d say right more often than not.
I live in Vegas, and it was tough to see them lose, but congrats to the Caps!
Then you’re in the right place.
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. My Step 1 is admittedly a bit low, but well over 200. Maybe o just didn’t gel with PD’s? I got 12 interview
Weird. What did she get stabbed with?
Hate patients, so going into radiology (no patients). Don’t know what I’m doing = normal feeling. Everyone’s scared at first.
Thank you. I’ve been impressed. Really only like 3 or so people that have been rude. Vast majority had been very kind. Go Imgur!!
Oh my goodness. I AM seeking radiology. That’s what I’m saying.
You don’t understand what you’re talking about. This has nothing to do with boards.
Radiologists rarely step foot in the patient’s room. I don’t understand your issue here.
Radiologists are doctors who don’t see patients. Not sure what you’re getting at.
See my previous comment
What? A radiologist is a medical doctor, but doesn’t see patients. It sounds to me like I was actively working on the problem.
A radiologist is a doctor, who doesn’t see patients. You can be good at medicine and not see patients.
Like there’s a little concern that in coming years there will be more students than residency spots. A bit of a broken system.
Specialty. Just a lot of people applied to my specialty this year, and there’s only so many spots.
No it’s more a numbers game. Like I tried for a competitive specialty, and didn’t get it. I will likely get into a less competitive 1/2
...which is why I tried for a non-patient interaction specialty. Actively tried to fix the problem, so why the bad vibes?
Dude, student loans are very real. Otherwise a lot more people would drop out. Every doc is in it for the money a LITTLE bit...
So... because I found an area of medicine that doesn’t involve patient interaction, then didn’t get it... you’re happy?
Nope, I was wrong. My bad.
Ah my mistake. My apologies!
Meh. I don't think so, but I suppose it's a possibility.
I matched a TY, so now Im ineligible for categorical programs (98% of SOAP), and I can only do advanced, which theres only 13 spots.
Not people. Mostly just you. Part of the 3% of commenters that's been rude. Funny how it comes back to you, right?
