I find it holy amusing that I became the bad guy because I simply ask people to use tags. I didn't say you need to change what you were posting, I didn't say that I didn't agree with you because I do agree with you. It was simply that it's in social media is in my chats It's on my TV is on the news it's even in my f****** games now so I'm quite well aware what's going on and I'm quite disappointed with my country but whatever you guys win okay I'll f*** off into a hole
you win, i'm done, i don't care anymore, I thought imgur was different, but apparently there is no escaping Trump, he's even in my damned games, whatever, fuck it
Here's the thought I'm coming to today: I'm already angry because I watch the news everyday, I'm already donating to those charities and groups that seek to maintain some level of stability and make sure we get the information we need. What action do people want here? I'm already sufficiently angry if I get any angrier at my head will literally f****** explode.
What action do you think will result from this? I'm already angry, most people who are seeing those are probably already angry, but what then?
I watch the news, I listen to NPR, the resistance then is just as bad as the Democrats in Washington and not getting s*** done. As evil as the GOP is, in my opinion, they are effective at getting the message out, at organizing, and long-term planning. But just like our representatives in Washington being led by Hakeem Jeffries, posting things we already know and cannot escape from on imgur is not moving people. The people you are talking to have already been moved.
People keep saying "if you don't want to see it close your eyes", I'm well aware of what is going on and I talk it about it elsewhere, shouldn't we have at least one place where it's not thrown in our face? I've configured my Content Controls to ignore political posts b/c I don't need it here too. I don't think that unreasonable.
I'm fairly certain it is painful as hell, the mat is only so flexible. These guys end up with lifelong pain.
If you read my comment you'd realize that I'm quite aware of what is going on, every little thing that happens is splashed everywhere, you literally cannot avoid it. I saw the "meeting" (ambush), I saw the stupid suit comment, the spineless senator from South Carolina play to appease his master, but who here hasn't?
Who's mind will be changed here? I'm fairly certain none of us voted for the #OrangeIdiot are you not getting bombarded in other social media, news alerts, etc everytime the #CheetoInChief says something? The only time we get a bit of peace is while he is costing us millions to go golfing. There should be respite somewhere. I'm willing to speak up, but how many people are at a breaking point and just can't handle it anymore?
You raise an interesting point there but, I'd venture a guess that the vast majority of us here, didn't vote for President Bonespurs and spoke out against him, but we are all being constantly besieged by news flashes, x shares, etc. bad news about a bad person, everywhere. Imgur has an uphill battle against bots, but it'd just be nice to have respite somewhere.
