True, but compressing any 50sec video to a 30mb gif in 256 colour without too much quality loss is pretty good...
It's only 30mb so it shouldn't have been too bad!
I have fond memories of ebaums world and videos like 'The Fifth Avocado'. However i like editing GIFs and and happy doing so
But both require skills
It's hard to compare what I do to like, a painter for example. You're probably right, maybe there should be a different definition.

And then make additional edits, changing elements of the source video. That being said, I note your opinion and plan on expanding my (2)
I do understand. I think there is an element of OC in repurposing a video. It not that easy to rescript something as meta successfully (1)

To be fair, the scripting is this scene is amazing and turning it into a meta gif is almost unjust...
Stands for 'original content'. There are a lot of people who like to repost other people's work. This GIF would be considered OC.
