I left last year after a decade of science secondary school teaching. I was making £42,000 or $53,000 before tax.This was as a course co-ordinator & second highest possible teaching progression….The amount of stress & additional work we were being asked to do, with deteriorating student behaviour made it not worth it.Making way less doing IT support, but holy hell it’s way more enjoyable, less busy and stressful!

I’m leaving after 11 years in the game. Mad respect for teacher who last double that! Can’t wait to feel normal again.

We are not allowing selfish students to put others health and lives at risk.
Refusal to wear a mask would result in the student being sent home and not allowed back in until they are willing to comply.
In the UK student have had to wear masks when walking to class. Then they take them off in the classroom.

This, regardless of breed, all dogs can be walked off lead if well trained. My beagle has always been walked offlead and rarely wanders off.
