300,000,000 to 9300 people is 32,000 (not 32,000,000). Zeros are difficult but 32 thousand is a little different than 32 million.

Exactly. Footing is key, then some steel reinforcing bars epoxied into the existing wall to tie it into the new columns. Kind of lucky they aren’t tied together or the support columns would be pulling the wall down with the footing settlement
