Try drawing shapes first. And then adding more detail. Like a rectangle for the body, legs, and circle for head. It helps with proportions(:
My dad though towel drying hair that went to my knees was a good idea. And then forcefully brushing the knots out for an hour. He tried. <3
The handcuffs could be useful...
