So the store I normally go to told me that their food is shipped from a location in Texas, regardless of location in the US, so the 1/2

BBQ is one of the biggest things here too, so you've got a 9/10 chance of stumbling across any good BBQ if you look around
I never understood the hype for Whataburger UNTIL I moved to Texas. It's a completely different experience here
OH! And if you're ever in the Frisco/Plano area, you HAVE to go to Hutchins BBQ
Honestly it's hard to go wrong here. Texans are sticklers for food quality and it shows!
Braum's, Big Tony's, and honestly any mom and pop shop will be 100% a great experience as long as you steer clear from stuff like McDonalds
Honestly, heat and rain aside, the food here makes EVERYTHING worth it
Me too! Just moved here from Arizona. Pretty big change considering how much it's rained here recently!
Of course there are much worse things, but keep in mind that the perception of society is relative to each individual's own environment
